Happy New Year! There’s something intoxicating about the start of a new year when reality is absent and anything seems possible. I’m so happy that 2012 is over and can’t wait to see what the new year brings. I think it is going to be a very good year since Pantone has decreed emerald (one of my absolute favorite colors) the color of the year.

I can’t help but think this ironic since we’d been searching all over for a good emerald color (we painted a dresser that color and then “antiqued” it). Excited at the idea we might be able to find bedroom items in that color now though!
