Blazers, once the required outerwear of private-schoolers, is now the garment of choice for the fashionably fabulous. This is my top wardrobe update for 2013 because a blazer is a fresh and professional cardigan/hoodie replacement.
This is my favorite way to wear a blazer. Rachel Bilson’s girly dress looks grownup with a black blazer.
Kate’s casual outfit looks comfortable without looking sloppy thanks to her shrunken blazer.

I love it. And I notice that the blazer needs to have a tight fit. Unlike the blazers of the 80s that could be big and chunky.
