Black and White

Over the last few weeks, I’ve watched a string of black and white movies.  Witty dialogue, slapstick comedy, and brilliant acting are some of the hallmarks of Hollywood’s Golden Age.  The fashion is exquisite with fine tailoring and jaunty hats.  As a child, I assumed the actors wore black and white clothes since there was no reason to wear color when no one could see it.  While this is obviously not the case, dressing in this simple color palette makes me feel like a film star.  It, also, just so happens that black and white is a major trend this spring offering the perfect opportunity to channel your favorite, classic, film star.

  1. Basically everything in my closet consists of black and white stuff, so I definitely loooove and support these! Especially in prints, they’re always beautiful on almost every fabric
