To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, I am participating in the Austenprose Pride and Prejudice Bicentenary Challenge 2013. The challenge runs from January 1st through December 31st, and sign up is open until July 1st. There are three levels of participation: Neophyte (1 – 4 selections), Disciple (5 – 8 selections), and Aficionada (9 – 12 selections). Below are the books I plan to read for the challenge.
To Read:
- Darcy Goes to War: A Pride and Prejudice Re-Imagining by Mary Lydon Simonsen
- One Thread Pulled: The Dance With Mr. Darcy by Diana J. Oaks
- Celebrating Pride and Prejudice: 200 Years of Jane Austen’s Masterpiece by Susannah Fullerton
- The Phantom of Pemberley: A Pride and Prejudice Murder Mystery by Regina Jeffers
- Caroline Bingley: A Continuation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice by Jennifer Becton
