Books ‘n’ Bloggers Swap Show-Off

It’s no secret that I love getting packages in the mail, so when I received a Books ‘n’ Bloggers Swap package from Beth, it felt like Christmas.  Beth is, also, a co-creator of Chaotic Goddess Swaps, and boy, does she know how to put together a package.

Not only did Beth send me a wonderful selection of books, but she, also, sent other goodies including tea and chocolate.  Did I mention she runs a mineral makeup company, too?  Tucked away in my package was this beautiful eye shadow from her store.

Books 'n' Bloggers swap

This swap was a lot of fun because you were required to send three types of books – a book you love, a book you haven’t read, and a book your partner wants.  Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver is a book that Beth loved.  The Royal Physician’s Visit by Per Olov Enquist is a book that she hasn’t read yet.   The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski is from my wish list.  Beth, also, sent a bonus book since we both enjoy Jane Austen – The Confession of Fitzwilliam Darcy by Mary Street.  I’m so excited to read these books!  Thank you, Beth!

If you are interested in participating in a swap, be sure to visit Chaotic Goddess Swaps for a list of upcoming swaps.

  1. I love this idea of a blogger book swap, what a great way of getting to leaner about different literature, The package she sent you is so lovely! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. Oh! I loved Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. It’s a really good read. And I was so excited to see The Story of Edgar Sawtelle was on your wishlist. My mom had found a copy of it and picked it for me because she thought it was something I’d like, but I had never heard of it before.
