• My Morning Skincare Routine

I’m all about simplifying my life right now, and my beauty routine reflects that. No 20-step skincare for me. Every season my beauty regimen changes a little bit to reflect the current state of my skin, and this winter, my less is more attitude has been great for my face, so I thought I’d share what I’ve been using.

    MY MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE

My simple 3 step morning skincare routine for those winter mornings you'd rather sleep in.

    ♥ Face Wash

Last year I was sent some products from Lindi to review (see my thoughts here), and the Lindi Face Wash has become a morning staple. It’s gentle formula works to achieve optimal pH balance and doesn’t dry out my skin. I like using the face wash with my Clarisonic Mia a few times a week to get my skin glowing.

    ♥ Micellar Water

To hydrate and get my skin extra clean, I use Simple Cleansing Micellar Water. This gentle cleanser isn’t great at removing makeup, but is just right for in the morning when my skin needs to wake up.

    ♥ Moisturizer

My final step is Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF 15. It’s non-greasy formula moisturizes without making my face shiny. I, also, like to mix a dab of this into my foundation or bb cream for a dewy look.

I love my Clarisonic Mia! My teen and I swear by it. I will need to look into your other suggestions. Thanks!

I have a Clarisonic Mia as well and it’s great. I only use it a few times a week at night since any more dries out my skin.

Awesome. I do have a Clarisonic and I’ve never used it! I’ve been too lazy. I really want to because winter is making me and my skin look and feel terrible.
      So thanks for the reminder!

I use the simple spf moisturizer too, it’s become a favorite. I also have a pretty basic routine , but I feel like it works well with out overcomplicating things.

Great post. I am so lazy as far as skin care is concerned but lately I have felt that I should really follow a skincare routine now.

My face routine is similar to except since I have dry skin I use a lot of oils to cleanse and moisturize my skin. I used to use the same products a lot too.

Very helpful and timely as I’ve been trying to be more proactive and habitual about skin care!
