I tried Kate Hudson’s Fabletics

Fabletics has been on my subscription box radar for a long time. Remember a few years ago when JustFab brought cheap, trendy shoes to the masses? I quickly jumped on that platform bandwagon only to realize that $39.95 dollar shoes aren’t such a great deal if they hurt your feet.

So, I’ve been eyeing Kate Hudson’s athleisure wear line, wondering if it’s worth the hassle of signing up for another subscription membership. Then, came the Memorial Day sales, and wouldn’t you know, Fabletics offered 75% off a look for first time customers. Obviously, it was a sign that now was the time, so I did what any bargain-hunting-shopaholic would do and bought my first outfit.

Looking for stylish athleisure wear? I'm sharing my thoughts on the stylish offerings of Kate Hudson's workout clothing line, Fabletics.

Ignore the partial farmer’s tan I am sporting in these pictures, or at least let my awkward tan lines be a reminder to you to protect yourself from the sun’s mischievous rays.

Thoughts on Fabletics…

I’m wearing the 3-piece Giza outfit in lime/black, which includes the Eiffel Tank,  Sylvia Bra, and Navassa Crop. The look retails for $149.85, but VIP members can grab it for $79.95. However, using my new member privileges, I got this look for $19.99 plus tax.

While I’m not sure I’d say this outfit is worth $150, I could easily see spending $80 at the mall for a similar look, so I think $20 is a steal for this look. The material feels like it will last through many wears and washes, although the mesh tank is probably going to be hand washed.

The bra is made from moisture-wicking fabric as are the cropped pants, which are, also, made from compression fabric with a UPF 50+.

I’m not going to be splurging on a new workout look every month, but I’ll definitely be keeping Fabletics in mind the next time I need new gym clothes. I really like their wide selection of athletic wear plus the company, also, offers cute dresses and rompers, perfect for showing of your gym body.

While Fabletics may not give you Kate Hudson’s body, at least you can steal a little of her sporty-chic style.

If you are interested in joining Fabletics, I’d love it if you used my personal referral link, which will get you your first look for only $25!

Have you tried Fabletics?

P.S. All this talk of fitness wear reminds me of another important topic – body issues. Don’t miss Close the (Thigh) Gap!

  1. You are so incredibly adorable, little bug 🙂 Love this look on you–I think you look amazing (AND? that’s QUITE a deal on a brand new gym outfit!).

  2. Wow that’s incredible that you scored this look for just $19.99 with a promo! I have problems with committing to subscriptions most of the time.

  3. I’ve been meaning to try this line, the ads stalk me. But I agree im not sure $150 is worth it but $20? Sure! I love the color of the outfit.

  4. Heeeey, nice deal!!! For that price I’d get it too. Not sure if I like the mesh top though… I think I’d like it better with just the leggings and sports bra.

  5. Ooh such a steal! I’m not sure if I’m feeling the mesh piece {it seems a little out of place}, but I’m liking the neon yellow/green shade of the rest of the look. I may need to check out Fabletics a bit more!

    xx

  6. I haven’t tried anything from this line, but I hear a lot good reivews about Fabletics! Great review!

  7. I remember hearing about this line when it first came out and wondered if it would be good. You display it nicely. It doesn’t hurt that your poses are terrific — beautifully feminine. *taking notes*

You stole my tan lines! In Summer, I wear men’s tees and get exactly those lines. Then I put on a dress and realize they’re there.

  8. You look great in this! I looove cute workout gear and with all of the marathon training I’ve been doing it helps to put on something cute! I’m not sure I could do the mesh top… maybe… but, it is super cute.

  9. Very cool! I keep seeing this brand mentioned in magazines, but hadn’t yet spotted it on a fellow blogger (in part because workout wear don’t factor heavily into most of the blogs I read, especially the vintage ones :)). I like the designs and punchy neon yellow-green here. The pieces look to be nicely made and like they’d last for a while.

    Have an awesome weekend,

  10. such a cute outfit! definitely worth $20. i have gone back and forth with fabletics, i have been a justfab member for a year or two, but only bought 4 pairs of shoes i think? and only 1 of them are comfortable haha the rest are already at goodwill. oh well. what i did like was their bags. love their bags. i normally skipped every month and only bought things when they were on sale. i finally cancelled my membership so i could stop skipping (i would wake up in a cold sweat thinking i had forgotten to skip lol). i am intrigued by fabletics even more now so i might have a look. great review!

  11. Loooove this review, you keep it so fresh and informative at the same time while adding your personal touch of humor….
BTW, I’ve had those partal tan lines at least twice in my life…hope they vanish soon!

  12. That is an actual bargain for a whole workout outfit! It’s so jazzy as well 🙂 I’ve always been intrigued by Fabletics, I think the postage cost is pretty high to the UK so it’s put me off. That or the fact I don’t need a new workout outfit every month, no matter how cute they are! Loved the first picture, there’s a meme in the making!
