My First Ipsy Bag! February 2017

One of my goals for this year is to step up my makeup game, and with that in mind, I’ve decided to try Ipsy, a monthly beauty subscription that you’ve most likely heard of before now. If you haven’t, here’s the quick lowdown. For $10 a month, the company sends you full size or deluxe size makeup and beauty products plus a cute makeup bag. Subscribers do not all get the same things, so it’s fun to see what different people receive. Here’s what is inside my February Glam Bag…

Unboxing Ipsy Glam Bag #1

The Subscription: Ipsy
The Cost: $10 a month
The Products: Samples and full size makeup and beauty products

Inside the February Glam Bag

A brick red lipstick and two different types of face masks are just a few of the makeup and beauty products in my February 2017 Ipsy Glam bag.

The Organic Pharmacy Lip & Eye Cream (Full Size?) – $48

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in $12 Latte (Full Size) – $15

NYX Professional Makeup Butter™ Lipstick in Lifeguard (Full Size) – $5.99

BelláPierre Cosmetics Volumelash Waterproof Mascara (Full Size) – $20

SOO AE Sheet Mask Duo – Purifying Black Charcoal Mask ($2.50) & Nature Green Tea Collagen Essence Mask ($1.35)

Bonus Item: em michelle phan Lip Gallery Creamy Color Matte Lipstick in Uptown (Deluxe Sample)

My first Ipsy Glam Bag is a fabulous fit for me because I love nail polish, lipstick, face masks, and mascara. Since I received my bag only a few days ago, I haven’t had a chance to try everything, but I couldn’t resist painting my nails with $12 Latte. The color reminds me a lot of OPI’s You Don’t Know Jacques!, which is one of my favorites. Trust Fund Beauty’s nail polish is “10 Free”, vegan, and cruelty free, which makes the brand a winner in my book.

While Ipsy sends deluxe and full size samples, I was surprised by how many full size products I received this month. I’m not sure if the eye and lip cream is full size as the packaging online looks a little different than the one I was sent, but if it is, my February Glam Bag has a value of over $90. I’m already looking forward to March’s bag!

  1. I wish I was a make-up girl. All the colorful eye shadows, smoky eyes, and face contouring looks like fun to play with. I can defiantly use that Purifying Charcoal mask. I haven’t found a mask that I didn’t like.

  2. I saw the nail polish on Insta today – I love it! You pull it off wonderfully. I’m a fan of charcoal masks – that would be my first try.

  3. Your first Ipsy bag is so good! I loved the cosmetic bag and it’s good to receive full sized products, like the lovely lipstick and the nail polish – I loved the colors! You look so sweet on the video, I liked to watch it! Loved the glasses! I hope you have a very nice day!

  7. My daughter had an Ipsy subscription for a year or two – she loved it! I like my Sephora Play! box – but any surprise box in the mail is a win for me!
