I can no longer deny that fall has arrived. The trees are changing colors. The leaves are falling, littering the ground. And, temps are now dipping into the 40’s. I don’t mind so much because fall in the Midwest is beautiful, but I dread the thought of winter. I was not made for cold weather.
The last few days have been windy with a decided chill in the air, which is a great excuse for unpacking my sweaters and indulging in a cute, fall style hack… wearing tights under jeans.
Lipton Publicity sent me a selection of Berkshire Trend tights to review, and I couldn’t wait to try the Berkshire Women’s Trend Sheer Diamond Control Top Pantyhose under my distressed jeans.
Wearing tights under jeans is a great way to stay warm on chilly days. Plus, I like how they add a touch of the unexpected to a casual, everyday look.
My new, cardinal red Tieks are getting a lot of wear. I’ve only had them for a few weeks, but so far, I’m very happy with them. At some point, I will write a Tieks review, but I want to wait a bit so that I know how they wear over time. This summer, I lost a pair of ballet flats to an unexpected rain storm, so I’m interested in seeing how Tieks hold up.
Have you seen Target’s new line, A New Day? There are so many cute pieces. I tried this sweater on at a wardrobe fitting, and while I didn’t get to wear it for the commercial, I had to run to Target to buy it for myself. I’m not usually a fan of yellow, but this sweater reminded me of the leaves changing colors and seemed just right for fall. Plus, it’s under $25, so it’s hard to beat the price.
