Recently, Kristen wrote a post called Things in threes, and it looked like fun, so I decided to write one, too. Here’s a peek at my life in threes.

  1. Agree with pizza, waffles and nachos!
I’m South African and so glad SA is on your travel list 🙂
Yes to mascara and lipbalm – I never go without it.

  2. What a fun post! I may have to borrow this idea, too!! You’ve ridden a camel?! That’s so neat!

Bird by Bird is a great book, but not sure I’ve ever reread a book before!

  3. Ohhh maybe I’ll do a post like this also, its so much fun sharing yourself and giving people a deeper look into you. I love waffles but I can not eat waffles, pizza or nachos and stay fit. Enjoy it, Ashley. I love Your Song by Elton John. I like Sherlock also 🙂 I’m always down for a long bath, I’ve been walking every day this week and it makes me feel refreshed and oh so happy. I’m going to West Africa for New Years and I can’t wait. I have never seen Lord of the Rings, crazy right?? Ever After is a classic.

  4. I love these three things style posts! How fun that you rode a camel! And too funny that you ice skated in Hawaii. I love the song I’ll Be, I sing along with that one too!

  5. Nice! I could come up with stuff for all categories except for the cosmetics, although:

    1. I once wore makeup and tights for a play (I was a prince)
    2. As father of three, I have NEVER been subject to their makeover skills
    3. I accidentally messed up one daughter’s makeup recently because I thought she made a mistake and was just cleaning up behind her.

  6. Bon Jon is my favourite. He was our song for our wedding. Yup. Sure was. In fact, everyone’s jaw dropped that we picked a Bon Jovi song for our wedding that it sparked a full on Bon Jovi dance off. People stripped off their shirts and tied their ties on their heads…it got all 1980 ridiculous up in there. Good times. That was way back in 2003. My goodness.
I love Doctor Who and can’t wait for Christmas! EEEEK!

  7. Oh, I love this! I’m so with you on loving Sherlock. I love Doctor Who too but I’m still on the 11th. Granted, I’m THRILLED about the 13th doctor – she’s fantastic. 🙂

Random fact about me? I attended an entire class at a college I never went to.

ShootingStarsMag recently posted..A Concert Review: Green DayMy Profile

  8. I didn’t know you loved Poldark! I was so excited to catch up on Season two (I saved it for when I was on maternity leave. Something to watch while doing night feedings….)

Also- the kids’ plays sound so fun! We did a Shakespeare unit in my 4th grade classes and performing in play (shakespeare adapted for kids….) was always a highlight for the students. I miss that….

  9. Ice skating in Hawaii?! That needs a post. I have ridden camels, elephants and horses!
    I’ll do my own:

Three meals I could always eat

    Eggs and bacon
    Chicken and mashed potatoes
