I love that this blog series pushes me to try new recipes, and this month, I had to bake this Fudge Cake featured in Southern Living. The recipe is actually an excerpt from Elizabeth Heiskell’s cookbook What Can I Bring? The cake is easy to make and super delicious.
I made my regular recipe alterations and cut out 3/4 cup sugar as well as swapping out the flour for my gluten-free alternative. Simple yet tasty, this Fudge Cake would make a lovely hostess gift or a yummy contribution to a bake sale. Or, you know, you could just eat it all yourself.
