Last minute Halloween costume: Breakfast at Tiffany’s

This fall I’ve been directing a children’s musical, and over the weekend, I got to watch 19 kids put on an awesome show. Needless to say, I’m starting this Monday off feeling very tired.

Every year, I love coming up with last minute Halloween costume ideas. Last week, I shared a look inspired by Amy Pond from Doctor Who. Today, I’m taking a page out of Audrey Hepburn’s book and digging out my little black dress for aΒ Breakfast at Tiffany‘s inspired Halloween costume.

What I like about this costume is that all you need is a black dress, black gloves, pearl necklace, and tiara to pull off this look.

For this look I wore a black dress I got from Target ages ago and paired it with the Berkshire Women’s Trend City Cable Control Top Tight (c/o Lipton Publicity) and my newΒ L.K. Bennett Sledge pumps.

  1. Absolutely darling! Audrey is an icon and you are cute as a bottom! Congrats on directing the musical.

  2. What a great idea for a costume! Wow, you are directing a musical – that takes a lot of work and patience! I was in musical theater in high school and loved it. How exciting!

  3. Oh what a fun costume – and you’re right it’s so easy to pull together at the last minute! πŸ™‚

Congrats on directing the show too – I can imagine it’s very tiring but rewarding too πŸ™‚

Hope you are having a lovely week and your weather is better than ours, haha! Cold and rainy here in Brisbane.
