Are LuLaRoe Leggings worth it? My thoughts after 3 pairs…

Colorful, printed leggings are showing up everywhere from your Facebook feed to lifestyle and fashion bloggers. It’s safe to say that LuLaRoe leggings have taken the world by storm. But, are LuLaRoe leggings worth the hype and the $25+ price?

Why I like LuLaRoe leggings…

Colorful, print leggings are showing up everywhere from your Facebook feed to lifestyle and fashion bloggers. It's safe to say the LuLaRoe leggings have taken the world by storm. But, are LuLaRoe leggings worth the hype and the $25+ price?

1. Fun prints

LuLaRoe is known for fun, colorful prints that they make in small batches. Which means not every seller has the same inventory and that you aren’t going to run into endless girls wearing the same print.

2. Super comfortable

The leggings are made out of soft, stretchy material and feature a wide waistband free of that annoying wide elastic that some brands use. Wearing LLR leggings is pretty much like wearing pajamas but way cuter.

Things that make me go meh…

Colorful, print leggings are showing up everywhere from your Facebook feed to lifestyle and fashion bloggers. It's safe to say the LuLaRoe leggings have taken the world by storm. But, are LuLaRoe leggings worth the hype and the $25+ price?

1. The price

One size leggings start at $25 with some special prints like Disney being a little higher. This isn’t an outrageous price for leggings, but it does keep me from buying more than one pair at a time. I’d love it if they offered something in the $15-20 range.

2. Fading and pilling

My first pair of LLR leggings are showing signs of wear with minor fading and pilling on the backside. This happened after wearing them only a couple of times, so I was a little disappointed in the quality. However, this hasn’t been an issue with the other two pairs I bought, but it’s still something to think about.

Are LuLaRoe leggings worth it?

It really depends on what you are looking for. You can find cute leggings at the mall for under $25, but there’s something special about being part of the LLR club. I’m constantly reaching for my LLR leggings because they are cute and comfortable. My leggings from Forever 21 just don’t feel as special.

For me, I say yes, LuLeRoe leggings are worth it, but as with everything, you’ve got to try things in order to find what works for you.

  1. I *love* leggings for the reasons you cite. Have never tried LLR. There are so many different brands that cost less that I opt for those. Nice reading your review of LLR: I didn’t know there was a “LLR club.” 🙂

  2. I just have 1 pair but I think they are worth it too, super fun and comfy and the price point is decent. Love the ones you’re stylin here!

  3. It doesn’t hurt that the ones in the top picture are super cute! Something tells me we would have the same taste in leggings if we lived near each other. Last year I went a little crazy buying them because it’s a colorful and soft way to brighten up winter. This year I am more meh on them but that’s just because I have enough so I don’t buy anymore.

  4. I liked that they are colorful and you look wonderful with them! But I guess you are right, the price culd be more like 15-15 or even 20. 25 is a bit too much, but still, the colors are so nice, I loved it! Hope you have a nice week!

  5. I agree with you on pretty much all of it, they are comfortable and the prints are fun but do they have to be so expensive?? I own more than I’d like to admit though because a friend of my mine sells it, so there’s that!!

  6. I’ve yet to try Lularoe and likely will never since I’m loyal to Lululemon. Then again, lululemon are workout wear and I don’t wear leggings around unless I’m at the gym. Having said that though, I’ve seen some pretty nice patterns. I love yours!! I also don’t even know if someone I know sells their stuff up here in Canada or I’d have to pay out the teeth to get some shipped here.

  7. I love those Disney leggings, but I don’t usually buy LLR unless I am IN LOVE with the print. They’re just a little expensive and high maintenance. Meh. It’s a toss up.

  8. I have been wanting leggings forever and I’m just starting to get more comfortable in my own skin. I just purchased my first 2 pair of LLR leggings last month and I absolutely LOVE them!! They are so comfortable and so soft! I have only worn one pair so far because not only do I cover my bun, I want them to come at least mid thigh (plus size here). I finally found shirts long enough to wear and just when I’m ready to wear my 2nd pair, the weather here has turned to spring. We have had temps in the high 70s all week. Hopefully we will have a day or two of a cold spell so I can wear them soon. I’m a LLR fan!

  9. Great Video Ashley! Have a friend that sells Lularoe leggings and she gave me a pair, I didn’t hate them at all. Happy to hear that you like them so much, they are stylish and good quality.
