Get inspired by the fashion from the 1980's classic film Troop Beverly Hills.

Her recommendations for a campsite were totally unsuitable. There were no outlets. And there was dirt, and bugs, and… and it rains there. So anyway, we’ve found a place that’s much more us: the Beverly Hills Hotel.

One of my favorite movies as a child was Troop Beverly Hills.   The comedy follows Phyllis Nefler, a Beverly Hills socialite who becomes the leader of her daughter’s Wilderness Girls troop in an attempt to turn her life around.  Any city girl can relate to Phyllis’ attempts at wilderness survival, but it’s her wardrobe that really stands out.  Wide brimmed hats, capes, peplums, and culottes are just some of the fabulous pieces she wears throughout the film.  Instead of sporting shapeless uniforms, Phyllis opts for haute couture.  Khaki never looked so good.
