The Rose has but a Summer reign,
The daisy never dies.
Typically located by the front door of the grocery store, “Crazy Daisies” boldly greet those too busy searching for milk to stop and smell the roses. What counts as a crazy daisy varies from store to store. It’s never the same type of daisy and sometimes glitter is involved, but the colors are always bright. While some may call dyed flowers an abomination, I find them irresistibly cheerful. However, when it comes to a romantic gesture, I think a diamond daisy is best.
