The holiday stress has finally caught up with me, and I write this while battling a terrible case of allergies. The good news is that all of my shopping is done and most of the gifts are wrapped. Whether you still have shopping to do or are done for the holidays, saving money is always a good thing. Today, I’m showing off my latest ULTA haul and telling you how I got it all for less than $4!
How to save money at ULTA!
1. Sign up for Ultimate Rewards
ULTA has a free rewards program that gives you points for every purchase. You definitely want to sign up for this because those points can be redeemed for free products. Plus, when you spend $450 in a calendar year, you become a Platinum member and earn even more points. Also, there are free gifts and samples throughout the year.
2. Use coupons
Sign up for ULTA emails and receive coupons every week. Usually it is $3.50 off $15 but sometimes there is a 20% off an item.
3. Look for free gift with purchase
Look on the ULTA website sidebar and you’ll see a heading for Sales & Coupons. Click on this and you will find all sorts deals including items that have a gift with purchase. Also, ULTA usually offers a weekly free gift with a certain amount purchased.
4. Shop sales
Non-prestige products are often on sale, so timing your purchases with ULTA’s weekly sales is an easy way to save money.
When you combine these four tips, you can save a lot of money. Just watch my haul to see how much you can save!

TGIF. I’m tempted to end my post right there since Christmas is nearly a week away and there is still so much to do. Watching: Moana and Doctor Strange. The first is a sweet movie with a good soundtrack. The second is, well, strange, but it does have Benedict Cumberbatch! Also, I’m watching way too many Hallmark Christmas movies. Listening to: This mix of classic Jane Austen soundtracks. It’s guaranteed to put a smile on any Jane Austen fan’s face. Reading: A […]
Reading: The Light Between Oceans. I want to see the movie, but I have to read the book first. I’m pretty sure I’ll be finishing this book with a box of tissues keeping me company. Listening to: Lukas Graham’s “7 Years”. This song is my fall obsession. Wearing: This Classic Utility Jacket from Gap. I love that […]
