Once a quarter, Emily P. Freeman posts what she’s learned in that season and asks readers to do the same. It’s hard to believe that it’s already time to look back on spring, but here we are staring at June and the start of summer. Today I’m sharing my spring reflections in groups of threes because I love lists and odd numbers.

How I’ve Been Spending My Time

    1. Pageant prep
    2. Reading
    3. B-School

    Events I’ve Attended

    1. William Shatner Live
    2. Voice Over Class
    3. Glass Pageant (Judge)

    Favorite Books I’ve Read

    1. Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport
    2. The Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo
    3. The Time in Between by María Dueñas

    Current Events On My Mind

    1. College Admissions Scandal
    2. Burning of Notre-Dame
    3. Increasing political divide and unending scandals

    What’s Giving Me Life

    1. Practicing hand lettering (this is a great resource)
    2. Walking in the park
    3. Baking (these cookies are a new favorite)

    Three Things I’ve Learned

    1. It takes as much time to put on tinted moisturizer as it does foundation. (I’m now using this in Breeze and am loving it.)
    2. Make life easy when taking daily medication and put pills in a weekly pill case.
    3. Instead of following brands on Instagram, save a pic to a collection so you can find it later. (from Simple podcast)

What are you reflecting on this spring?

I’ve been using the collections feature on Instagram a bit too and it’s been super nice so far!

Oh this is good! I can’t narrow down the three current events on my mind.. sadly.

Love this Ashley! Life has been super busy but is about to slow down now that school is out. A nice reminder to reflect for a bit!

I’ve been reflecting on narrowing down my interests so I can pick something new to learn how to do.

I like the idea of saving it to a collection on IG instead of following the brand! I need to do some baking sometime soon, I’ve been craving chocolate chip cookies!

I love this list. And yeah…time to put on tinted moisturizer also takes me as long as foundation.

It’s always so good walking more in spring – you get the sunshine without it being too hot! i love summer but you can’t go for big walks like you can in spring!

Hope that you’ve had a great weekend! I was surprised with a weekend away, it was wonderful! 🙂

Baking gives me life too! We’re almost through some almond cookies and I’m wondering what to bake next. Your pageant prep looks like it’s been going well so far! I’ve also started saving photos to remember places and restaurants that look great.

oh wow there is a lot to reflect on these days, it can be overwhelming. My problem is I do too much reflecting. I am glad summer is here so I can get out from behind the computer. Head to the beach, I will still be stuck with my thoughts but at least it will be in a nice setting.

Things have been so crazy lately haven’t had much time to reflect.. but this post is a great reminder to take some time and do so.

This is a fun way to keep up with you. Sounds like you have been busy. We are loving walks to the park here too.

I’ve not read any of those books, but I’m adding them to my list. I’m always looking for new reads, especially with summer vacation coming up!

Ooh I like this idea for a post – might need to borrow it. I definitely use a weekly pill case. I don’t know how I’d do it otherwise!
